First, the crash: one of India’s most popular politicians, who heads the state of Andhra Pradesh, just died in a mysterious helicopter crash. What’s eerie is that the dead politician recently went public attacking India’s most powerful oligarch family, the Ambanis, threatening to take away their giant offshore gas concessions. Meanwhile the Ambani brothers, Mukesh (the world’s 7th richest man) and Anil (the world’s 34 richest) are battling each other in a blood feud that’s taking the whole country down with them–that’s not a hornet’s nest you’d want to stick your fingers into, even if you’re the governor of a huge Indian province. The Ambani brothers’ feud peaked in May when Anil’s helicopter was found to have been sabotaged just before takeoff (read about it here). Anil strongly hinted he suspected Mukesh, but no one will ever know who did it, because the mechanic who discovered the dirt and gravel in Anil Ambani’s helicopter gear box was hit by a train two days later in what was initially ruled as a “suicide,” but which later was ruled murder.
So why would an Ambani have anything to do with the mysterious helicopter crash of Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy? Just speculatin’ on a hypothesis, as the police chief says in Miller’s Crossing, and here’s why:
Just over a month ago, as the Ambani brothers’ insane internecine war over offshore gas deposits dragged on with no end in sight, Reddy publicly demanded that his state, Andhra Pradesh, take a share of the gas deposits for itself.
“ Even as the two Ambani brothers are locked in a legal battle over supply and price of gas from the Krishna-Godavari basin, the Andhra Pradesh government has sought its “due share” of the hydrocarbon asset.”
He even attacked the brothers’ mother, who brokered the deal dividing up India’s gas between her feuding sons:

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy on Sunday said that the settlement of the gas dispute between the Ambani brothers could not be left to their mother Kokilaben and the Centre must play a decisive role, for which he has written to the Prime Minister.
“The dispute over sharing of gas is not an issue to be settled by (the) mother (Kokilaben). It is for the government to decide who should get the gas and also at what price,” Reddy said on the sidelines of a function here.
Ah, YSR, you shouldn’t have attacked their mother. Next thing you know…Reddy’s dead.

OH, AND BY THE WAY, DON’T FORGET THIS ONE LITTLE FUN-FACT: LARRY SUMMERS, THE GUY APPOINTED BY OBAMA TO RUN AMERICA’S ECONOMY, WORKED FOR MUKESH AMBANI RIGHT UP UNTIL HE TOOK HIS WHITE HOUSE JOB. WE’RE IN GOOD HANDS, FOLKS.

Wake up educated fools !!

Why is the voting percentage very low?
Why is India still suffering from regionalism?
Why India is still not developed in all fields despite 60 years of independence?
Why is India still in hands of opportunistic and power politicians ruled by casteism and money?
Why is politics not a career?

Why why why …???

Why is that today the educated considering voting as a sin not a responsibility? Every right implies a responsibility; every opportunity, an obligation; every possession, a duty. Why aren't they as enthusiastic as an uneducated to come and participate in the voting process? It's the educated fools who restrain from the system saying system is not perfect or take the day as a general holiday, a day to enjoy with family and suffer for next 5 years. "Koi bhi system perfect nahi hotha usey perfect banana padtha hai"

Politics is not a sin, politics is about representing you. Till you don't come and participate or be an active member the problem of nepotism and corruption will be there and will be persisting for generations? Why do you wait for someone to come and change the system? Why that is somebody can't be you or me? This article is my first contribution for the change of system.

Mahatma Gandhi once observed that politics envelops us like the coils of a snake and there is no other way out but to wrestle with it. A best example for educated fool is the recent GHMC elections in Hyderabad. Hyderabad one of the major metropolitan cities is no doubt to have a literacy rate of more than 85 %* but contradicting the literacy rate the voting percentage is a meager 42 %. I'm hundred percent confident that the rest 58 % percent who have not participated in the process are the educated fools. Aren't the educated fools violating their fundamental rights or our constitution? We are seeing flaws as escapism rather than improving it.

When can we see a 100% voter turnout?
When can we see politics free of opportunism and power?
How best can we educate the educated fool?
When can we elect a true leader?

Telangana...! An opportunistic politics played by Andhras and the congress

Have you people ever wondered why we are fighting for Telangana. Here I try to present a brief review of history and what has happened in the past.Lets go back to year 1950 when the state of hyderabad(Vellodi Narayana Menon was appointed as the first Chief minister of Hyderabad State on 26 January, 1950 after it was taken from Nizams in Polo Operation) was formed which is now called Telangana and Andhra( a seperate state then )which was under control of Madras.It was then in year 1953 the Telugu's started fighting for a separate state for telugu speaking locals and Poti Sriramulu came into picture.Having seen the unrest among different regional groups in India a SRC(Sates reorganization commission) was formed to create a states in India on basis of linguistic lines.

The States Reorganization Commission (SRC) was not in favour of an immediate merger of Telangana region with Andhra state, despite the common language between the two.

Para 382 of States Reorganization Commission Report (SRC) said "opinion in Andhra is overwhelmingly in favour of the larger unit, public opinion in Telangana has still to crystallize itself. Important leaders of public opinion in Andhra themselves seem to appreciate that the unification of Telangana with Andhra, though desirable, should be based on a voluntary and willing association of the people and that it is primarily for the people of Telangana to take a decision about their future". The concerns of Telanganas were numerous. The region had a less developed economy than Andhra, but with a larger revenue base (mostly because it taxed rather than prohibited alcoholic beverages), which Telanganas feared might be diverted for use in Andhra. They also feared that planned dam projects on the Krishna and Godavari rivers would not benefit Telangana proportionately even though Telanganas controlled the headwaters of the rivers. Telanganas feared too that the people of Andhra would have the advantage in jobs, particularly in government and education.

The commission proposed that the Telangana region be constituted as a separate state with a provision for unification with Andhra state, after the 1961 general elections, if a resolution could be passed in the Telangana state assembly with two-third majority.

The letter is highly significant for it reveals the thinking of Mr Burgula and his observations of the ground realities in Hyderabad state, and the impending merger of Telangana with Andhra .

Prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru ridiculed the idea of merging Telangana with the Andhra State, fearing a “tint of expansionist imperialism” in it. Later, he compared the merger to a matrimonial alliance having “provisions for divorce” if the partners in the alliance cannot get on well.

So it was a sheer opportunistic politics played by the Andhras and the congress to out rid communism in Andhra amd Telangana and have congress in power for the next 20 -30 years.

Do you think that all the 4 crore Telangana people are fools to still believe the stunts made by opportunistic politicians in Andhra? The fight in the region of Andhra is not for samaikyaandhra but for power.The one who fighths now or the most popular in colloquial terms would be the next CM for Andhra.If the Andhra's were really for united AP why didn't they raise their voice before or why were they tolerating the biased nature of politicians towards the Telangana region even when every Andhra knows that Telangana is undeveloped and needs attention.

Out of 14 lakh goverment jobs 2.5 lakh people are from Telangana(including Hyderabad which is a part of Telangana and will be a part of Telangana)when Telangana region is 43.47 % of AP.

Today Telangana region contrubutes to 45% of state revenue out of which only 24% is being spent for Telangana.Is this how polticians show regionalism?

2.The no.of educationalists and literacy rate from telangana?

3.The no.of educational institutions except for central government instituions(like NIT,IIIT,IIT etc) which has no regional quota?

4.The no.of civil servants?

5.The water share when both major rivers of AP Godavari and Krishna flow from Telangana?

The list is innumerable!

I find no wrong in KCR opportunistic and power politics.Politics is also like business.There is Telangana sentiment and he is using that for prosperity of himself and the people of Telangana.

Why Blog???

It is not a bad idea to get in the habit of writing down ones thoughts .It saves one having to bother anyone else with them. Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing.Because I have not done anything for the latter,I attempted to do the former.Moreover I realized that the purpose of writing is to inflate weak ideas,obscure poor reasoning and inhibit clarity.With a little practice, writing can be an intimidating and impenetrable fog!
